This powerful 10hp Chipper Shredder is equipped with a dependable, easy-to-start Briggs & Stratton Engine.

The extra-large 17" X 18" top hopper opening feeds debris up to 1-1/2" in diameter into 24 free-swinging steel hammers which pulverize it more than 50,000 times per minute.

The seperate side chute chews larger limbs and branches from 3.5" to 4" in diameter at a feed rate of up to ten feet-per-minute.

What is a Chipper Screen?

Many of our customers ask us to explain the function of a chipper screen.

Chipper screens are located at the bottom of the chipping chamber. They prevent the material being shredded from escaping until it can fall through the holes located in the screen. The smaller the hole, the longer the debris is held in the chipping chamber.

Most chippers are shipped with a "standard" screen which will satisfy the needs of most customers in many applications.

The optional screens shown below allow you to "customize" your chipper to your exact needs, which may include the use of smaller screens to result in finer mulch chips or the use of larger screens to process fiberous materials such as corn stalks or palm frawns.
